Jessica’s career spans 45 years, working in the arts as well as the nonprofit sector (including education, philanthropy, public health and, currently, mental health). For 11 years, she served as Director of Communications at The Museum of Modern Art, which capped a career in art museum communications that included The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, The New Museum, the San Francisco Art Institute and The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. In addition, she spent 19 years as the Senior Communications Officer at The Wallace Foundation, a national philanthropy, working on education and arts initiatives. Before this, at the NYC-chapter of the American Cancer Society, she led communications and advocacy to fight tobacco addiction and encourage women to get mammograms. Since 2020, Jessica has worked part time as Director of Communications for a growing mental health organization, The Child & Family Institute (CFI), serving the Greater New York. She also volunteers for CFI’s sister organization, Weissman Children’s Foundation, dedicated to helping those in need, regardless of circumstances. Jessica has an MA in art history from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a BA in art history and archaeology from Cornell University.
