Allison received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Public Citizenship in 1984 and her J.D. Degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1987. She is admitted to the New York State Bar and specializes in Immigration Law. After working at several Immigration Law Firms, she started her law firm, Allison Spitz-Perry, Esq. in 1991. She handles the application process for Naturalization, Permanent Residence and Non-Immigrant visas, with a focus on complex business immigration matters and family unification. Allison also serves as a trustee on several Boards of Directors including the Hoosac School, The Society for Advancement of Judaism, and the co- operative building where she resides, 720 Fort Washington Avenue Owner’s Corporation. She is a former board member of 75 East End Avenue Owner’s Corporation. An empty nester, Allison lives in Upper Manhattan with Lebowski the cat and Norma the dog.
